2009
– Instructor, 3-day workshop on prototyping approaches
We, 21st-century human beings, are part technologists and part humanists. What does it mean to design like a technologist vs. like a humanist? How are the design processes different, and how are the outcomes different, or are they?
As a part of the Sharing Experiences / MIT Media Lab Seoul Workshop 2009, I had a blast working with a group of 16 participants through an intense 3-day prototyping process, first half of it devoted to observation-based prototyping and second-half devoted to technological capability-based prototyping.
